연구실 개요(국문)

약물요법 연구실에서는 임상약학적 지식에 역학적 연구방법론을 접목하여, 환자들에게 효과적이고 안전한 최적의 약물요법을 제공할 수 있는 과학적인 근거를 마련하는 연구를 수행합니다.

의약품을 사용한 이후 의도하거나 의도하지 않은 효과 및 안전성을 모니터링하고 평가하는 데에 초점을 두며, 의약품사용양상과 질병현상의 분포를 파악하여 아래 주제의 연구를 주로 수행합니다.

 

- 약물역학적 연구(pharmacoepidemiologic research) 

  : Real-World Database 활용한 Real-World Evidence 생성

  : 의약품의 적정사용(rational drug use)

  : 의약품의 효과 및 안전성 등 임상성과 평가(clinical outcomes research)

 

- 의약품 안전성문제를 조기에 감지하고 모니터링, 관리하는 약물감시(pharmacovigilance) 방법론

 

 

 

연구실 개요(영문)

  • The pharmacotherapy research lab conducts population-based research to identify determinants, patterns, and outcomes of pharmacotherapy in real-world clinical settings, and methodological studies to enhance science for detecting and assessing safety and effectiveness of pharmacotherapy.

 

 

  • Outcomes Research on Clinical Therapeutics: Pharmacoepidemiology

 

  • - Evidence generation using Real-World Database
  • - Evaluation of safety and effectiveness of clinical therapeutics
    •                        : Therapeutics for cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, and psychological diseases, etc.
  • - Methods development for pharmacoepidemiology
  •                       : Design and analytical techniques to enhance validity of exposure, outcomes, and to control for confounding

 

  • Rational Use of Medicines: Drug Utilization Research

 

  • - Aspects concerning patient´s attitudes to the therapy

  • - Signal detection methodologies using various data sources (spontaneous AE reporting, claims DB, hospital electronic health records, etc)
  • - Knowledge of health care professionals regarding legislation on pharmacovigilance and implementation of pharmacovigilance in medical education
  • - Policies on pharmacovigilance activities: Strengthening spontaneous reporting of adverse drug reactions and signal detection activities
